About the role

Publiex is looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage the client portfolio, keep accounting records up‑to‑date and directly support the company’s liquidity and financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the full accounts‑receivable portfolio.
• Record invoices, receipts, credit notes, withholdings and client payments accurately.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure ledger balances match subsidiary records.
• Prepare and analyse periodic aging reports.
• Proactively follow up overdue invoices and coordinate collection efforts with clients.
• Communicate directly with clients to resolve billing differences, pending payments and documentation queries.
• Identify overdue balances, unapplied payments and hard‑to‑recover accounts.
• Generate regular reports on total, overdue, recovered and projected collections.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting with updated recovery dates.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Billing, Accounting and Finance teams to resolve inconsistencies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client files and documentation.
• Assist with monthly closing activities related to receivables.
• Propose improvements to billing, credit, collection and internal control processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounting or portfolio management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliations.
• Experience analysing aging of balances.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and follow‑up capability.
• Professional communication and negotiation skills with clients.
• Ability to work under deadlines, monthly closes and recovery targets.
• High sense of responsibility, confidentiality and results orientation.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using accounting systems or ERP software.
