Commercial Director / Chief Revenue Officer

About the role

TIPSTIPS is seeking a Commercial Director / Chief Revenue Officer to lead its commercial organization in Costa Rica. Reporting to the COO, you will shape growth strategy across B2B, B2C, marketing and after‑sales while driving revenue, profitability and customer retention.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies across multiple channels, identify growth opportunities and improve prospecting, conversion and repeat purchases.
• Lead and develop departmental managers, set clear goals, ensure accountability and strengthen collaboration between sales, marketing and service teams.
• Own commercial P&L, budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis; create dashboards, reporting and performance reviews.
• Align marketing investment with measurable customer acquisition results and support CRM adoption and process improvement.
• Establish a Customer Experience and Loyalty function, redesign after‑sales service model and improve customer satisfaction and retention.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive commercial or general management experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record of sustained, profitable revenue growth in organizations generating $25‑$50 M annual revenue.
• Experience managing 50+ employees and leading managers in both B2B and B2C environments.
• Strong financial acumen, advanced budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, authorized to work in Costa Rica.
