Sales Supervisor

About the role

British American Tobacco is seeking a Sales Supervisor to develop and execute trade marketing and distribution plans in Heredia, Costa Rica, driving brand, volume and profitability objectives across sales channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage brand availability and freshness, ensuring implementation of brand strategies while minimizing supply chain costs.
• Supervise field execution by Sales Representatives, providing coaching and feedback to improve efficiency and KPI performance.
• Drive consumer sales through point‑of‑sale activities and maintain strong commercial relationships with customers.
• Control accounts and assets, safeguarding resources and ensuring efficient utilization.
• Identify training needs, set performance objectives, and align team competencies with business goals.
• Plan distribution factors to guarantee continuous brand availability and cost‑effective logistics.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (completed secondary education).
• Valid B1 driver’s license.
• Experience in FMCG commercial roles and team management.
• Knowledge of FMCG market dynamics and budget management.
• Strong coaching, communication and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.
