About the role

Community Operations at Uber connects riders, drivers, couriers and merchants with real‑time support. The COE Specialist I works in a fast‑paced environment, providing empathetic assistance through multiple digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support riders, drivers, couriers and merchants via chat, email and phone, turning uncertainty into clarity.
• Identify patterns in customer issues and contribute to root‑cause analysis to improve support processes.
• Collaborate with teammates and cross‑functional partners to remove blockers and enhance the overall experience.

Required profile

• 6+ months experience in a high‑volume retail, hospitality or customer‑service environment.
• Ability to stay calm, show empathy and make thoughtful decisions in high‑pressure situations.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to work from the designated COE location.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the required local language with clear verbal and written communication.
• General computer proficiency and experience using multiple digital tools and software platforms.
