C++ Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This remote, hourly contract position is for a C++ Quality Assurance Lead who will oversee the quality and consistency of AI‑generated C++ training data. You will evaluate code, provide precise feedback, and ensure that contributors follow strict quality standards across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated C++ code and trainer/QA work against project rubrics.
• Assess code correctness, compile‑time validity, runtime behavior, memory safety, performance, and readability.
• Provide detailed written feedback and enforce style guides, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
• Maintain trackers, dashboards, calibration tasks, and quality documentation.
• Support and coordinate remote teams of trainers, reviewers, and engineers using Discord, Google Sheets, and project‑management tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional C++ development, systems programming, or QA experience.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to manage remote quality workflows.
• Highly organized with experience maintaining style guides and quality documentation.

Required skills

• Modern C++ (RAII, smart pointers, templates, STL, concurrency, exceptions, memory management).
• Build systems and compilers: CMake, GCC, Clang, MSVC.
• Debugging and analysis tools: GDB, LLDB, sanitizers, Valgrind.
• Testing frameworks: GoogleTest, Catch2.
• Libraries: Boost.
• Version control and CI/CD: Git, GitHub, profiling, static analysis tools.
• Collaboration tools: Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards.
