Boomi Integration Lead – Enterprise Integration Specialist

About the role

The Boomi Integration Lead will design, build, and govern enterprise‑wide integration solutions that enable secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange across Penumbra’s business applications. This corporate position works across global teams to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Define integration strategy and architecture for cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between SAP S/4HANA and systems such as Salesforce, UKG, ServiceNow, MES, and Active Directory.
• Implement enterprise‑wide error handling, monitoring, and operational support frameworks.
• Lead the adoption of AI‑assisted integration development and intelligent mapping capabilities.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and vendor teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application integration, middleware platforms, or enterprise architecture.
• Proven ability to influence architectural decisions and work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Boomi AtomSphere (Professional Developer/Architect certification preferred).
• Experience with Boomi Flow, Boomi API Management, Atom, Molecule, and Atom Cloud topologies.
• Integration experience with SAP Integration Suite, Azure Integration Services, and AI‑assisted integration tools.
• Hands‑on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, UKG, ServiceNow, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Active Directory.
• Deep understanding of API‑led connectivity, event‑driven architecture, canonical data models, messaging, file‑based and hybrid integration patterns.
• Strong grasp of API security standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, encryption, authentication, authorization).
