Assembler I

About the role

Moog is looking for an Assembler I to join its production team in San José, Costa Rica. This hands‑on position supports daily plant operations, focusing on system operation, routine maintenance, and ensuring product quality on the assembly line.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain assembly line machinery at fixed workstations.
• Install components, sub‑assemblies, or finished parts as products move through the line.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitor output quality, identify defective items, and initiate re‑work or discard as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines under close supervision.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent (high school, GED, or vocational training).
• Limited or no prior experience; willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to work under detailed verbal, visual, or written instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving mindset for routine tasks.

Required skills

• Operating assembly line machinery.
