Analista de Procesos Financieros

About the role

The Financial Processes Analyst will design and implement technological solutions that streamline the finance department, boost efficiency, and drive continuous process improvement in line with the department’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy automation and analytical tools to optimize financial workflows.
• Collaborate with senior management to align process enhancements with business objectives.
• Monitor and refine existing processes to ensure speed, accuracy, and compliance.
• Generate data‑driven insights to support decision‑making across the finance function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience analyzing financial processes within banking or financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial systems used in banking.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (complex functions, modeling, data analysis).
• Proficiency with banking ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Expertise in Power BI and Tableau for data visualization.
• Strong command of R for extracting and analyzing large data sets (essential).
• Knowledge of financial statement interpretation, financial ratios and forecasting (desired).
