Administrative Assistant – Permit Research (Night Shift)

About the role
We are seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant to manage the end‑to‑end permit research and submission process for our operations team. This remote, night‑shift position supports U.S.‑based Operations Leads by communicating with government offices and coordinating with customers.
Key responsibilities
- Research permit requirements using internal databases, AI tools, and official government resources.
- Make outbound calls to U.S. government offices to verify requirements and follow up on submissions.
- Build, track, and manage permit‑related tasks from initiation to completion.
- Collect required documents from customers and submit applications through government portals.
- Maintain accurate, organized documentation for each project.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative, virtual assistant, BPO, or operations role.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable using AI tools and discerning when manual verification is needed.
- Reliable equipment: laptop/desktop (Intel i5 or better), 8 GB RAM, stable internet with backup, noise‑cancelling microphone or headset.

What we offer
- 40‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday night shift (9 PM – 5 AM local time aligned with U.S. business hours).
- Independent contractor arrangement (no benefits or PTO).
- Pay ranging from $3.50 to $7.00 per hour, based on experience and location.
