Accounting Services Manager – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Services Manager to independently manage a portfolio of small and medium‑sized business clients across Latin America. You will own the client relationship, oversee full‑cycle accounting, and collaborate with a dedicated bookkeeper to deliver accurate financial statements and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SMB clients, handling month‑end close, reconciliations, accruals and working papers.
• Prepare and file GST/HST and sales tax returns on time.
• Review financial statements and explain results to business owners.
• Maintain and optimise accounting and fintech integrations.
• Work closely with a supporting bookkeeper to ensure clean, timely books.
• Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and workflow.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience with advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Xero.
• Proficiency in bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred revenue and fixed assets.
• Familiarity with fintech platforms such as Stripe, Dext, Plooto or Ramp.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable leading client calls.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
• CPA designation is a plus.
