Accountant II – General Accounting

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant II to join our General Accounting team. The role will support Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes across multiple countries, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, reporting and compliance within our shared‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general‑ledger accounting including journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed‑asset processing and cash‑management activities.
• Prepare and post accruals, corrective entries and support period‑end close according to the established calendar.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports required by the region.
• Maintain and update financial master data in ERP systems (chart of accounts, entity structure, accounting codes, etc.).
• Assist with treasury activities, liquidity management and the annual audit process.
• Document R2R processes, create process maps and work instructions, and support migration of R2R activities across countries.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives within the R2R function.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a financial shared‑service centre supporting multiple countries.
• Experience in Record‑to‑Report functions within a shared‑services environment.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for general‑ledger and master‑data management.
