UX Designer – Digital Dentistry Platforms

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑to‑senior UX Designer to join our Platform Experiences (PEX) team. You will help shape the future of digital orthodontics and restorative dentistry by creating intuitive, elegant, and scalable experiences for products such as Invisalign®, iTero® and exocad®.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and fellow designers to define user‑centered solutions.
• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity UI that follow the Align Design System.
• Translate research insights, usability findings and customer feedback into actionable design decisions.
• Participate in design critiques, ensuring consistency, accessibility and quality across web, mobile and desktop platforms.
• Provide clear design specifications and assets to development teams during implementation.
• Contribute to the evolution of design processes, documentation and best practices within a global design organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, HCI, Product Design, Psychology, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4–6 years of professional UX/UI design experience, preferably in enterprise software, SaaS, healthcare technology or complex digital platforms.
• Professional English proficiency with strong presentation and documentation skills.
• Portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product design ownership and systematic design thinking.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma for interface design, prototyping and collaboration.
• Experience working within design systems and modern design workflows.
• Ability to apply user research methods, usability testing and data‑driven design.
