Systems Engineer – Endpoint Vulnerability & Patch Management

About the role

Moody's is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead endpoint vulnerability remediation and patch management across Windows and macOS environments. The role focuses on maintaining a secure, compliant, and reliable device fleet while leveraging automation and AI‑enhanced workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of endpoint vulnerability remediation and patch deployment for Windows and macOS devices.
• Configure and enforce security baselines using Microsoft Intune, including policy creation and OS update distribution.
• Analyze security findings from Qualys, prioritize remediation actions, and validate fixes.
• Develop PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate routine management and remediation tasks.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business users to resolve complex compliance and deployment issues.
• Apply AI tools to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency while adhering to responsible AI practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in endpoint management, vulnerability remediation, or patch management.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Qualys, PowerShell) are preferred.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with Windows and macOS endpoint operating systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Intune administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Qualys vulnerability management platform.
• Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with AI tools for workflow automation.
