Senior Frontend Engineer – Attack & User Emulation

About the role

SimSpace is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build the primary control surfaces and visual interfaces for its Attack & User Emulation platform. The role bridges complex backend simulation capabilities with real‑time telemetry, delivering intuitive, high‑performance web applications for cyber‑security professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance React/TypeScript web applications, including real‑time streaming displays (WebSockets, SSE) and AI/MCP integrations.
• Own the customer‑facing control surfaces, dynamic topology components, and streaming UI workflows, ensuring WCAG accessibility and client‑side performance.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to define API contracts and translate UI/UX concepts into production code.
• Lead code reviews, enforce frontend engineering standards, and mentor team members to raise UI quality and architectural consistency.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional experience building and shipping complex, scalable web applications.
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, modern state management, and web performance optimization.
• Proven ability to integrate real‑time data streams (WebSockets, SSE) and complex backend/AI protocols.
• Strong foundation in UI testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E) and accessibility standards (WCAG).
