Senior Systems Engineer – Cloud & On-Premise

About the role

The Senior Systems Engineer will design, provision, install, configure, operate and maintain both on‑premises and cloud infrastructure. You will ensure reliability, security and efficiency across Windows, Linux, VMware, Azure and AWS environments while driving automation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, configure and monitor on‑premises data‑center technologies including servers, storage, networking and virtualization (VMware).
• Manage Azure cloud services, Azure AD, on‑prem Active Directory, SSO, ADFS and PKI to secure access.
• Administer AWS resources and lead migration projects from on‑premises to AWS.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting frameworks using tools such as PRTG, PagerDuty and Datadog.
• Automate repetitive tasks and incident‑management processes using PowerShell and Python.
• Document system configurations, processes and workflows to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing on‑premises data‑center operations.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Windows Server 2019+; Linux experience is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, Server+, CCNA, VMware, Azure, AWS) are preferred.
• Proven ability to design and execute cloud migration strategies.
