Senior Java / Back-End Software Engineer

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Senior Java / Back-End Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance web solutions. You will work on multiple projects, translating user requirements into robust, scalable applications while following best‑practice standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create technical and functional documentation for software components.
• Provide application support and assist with production releases.
• Gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
• Design, code, and test applications according to functional and technical standards.
• Develop system specifications, interfaces, and complex components.
• Validate designs with stakeholders and ensure they meet requirements.
• Configure, build, and test application architecture components.
• Identify, track, and resolve defects, performance issues, and project risks.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a software engineer delivering web solutions.
• Academic background in computer science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of MVC frameworks and web service libraries such as Spring Boot and Quarkus.
• Understanding of HTTP statelessness, session handling, cookies, and external storage.
