Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Platform & Automation Lead

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and own modern enterprise infrastructure platforms. This hands‑on engineering leadership role focuses on platform architecture, automation at scale, and establishing engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate VMware and/or Nutanix platforms across Windows and Linux environments.
• Architect and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) frameworks using Terraform, Ansible and reusable modules.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, code‑review processes, and IaC‑first practices.
• Lead automation initiatives to eliminate manual work and improve scalability.
• Own the full platform lifecycle: design, deploy, scale, and optimize.
• Design, deploy and support Kubernetes/container platforms.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Define and improve disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical quality across the team.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of hands‑on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven experience owning and operating production platforms at scale.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated ownership of infrastructure platforms end‑to‑end.
• Experience designing architecture, not just implementing.
• Leadership in engineering standards, code quality, and root‑cause analysis.

Required skills

• PowerShell, Python or Bash scripting.
