Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React/Node) – Remote – Costa Rica

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing US startup to hire a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer who will work remotely from Costa Rica. The role focuses on building high‑quality, scalable products and owning the cloud environment while collaborating with a US team on Pacific Time.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, reusable software solutions.
• Document architectural decisions and design choices clearly.
• Develop code following best engineering practices using TypeScript, React, and Node.js/Express.
• Write thorough automated tests for individual components and the overall system.
• Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in fast‑paced startup environments.
• Strong track record of direct, in‑house roles (consulting/agency experience not a fit).
• Fluent English and ability to work US Pacific Time (PST) hours.
• Currently residing in Costa Rica.
