Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for a large U.S. retail platform. This hands‑on individual contributor will work closely with engineering teams, architects, and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure‑based infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for reliable production deployments.
• Partner with architects to resolve infrastructure dependencies and ensure compliance with strict retail security standards.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Continuously improve platform reliability, performance, and security.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE or Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive technical issues to resolution.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (AKS, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Functions, Cosmos DB, Networking).
• Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud security, identity and access management.
• Monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare, Redis Cache, API Management or API Gateway is a plus.

What we offer
