Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

MPS is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, automate, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for a large U.S. retail platform. This hands‑on individual contributor will collaborate with engineering, architecture, and senior stakeholders to ensure reliable production deployments and continuous platform improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Build repeatable environments with Terraform and manage containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage Azure platform services such as Storage, Functions, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault.
• Implement secure networking components, including NSGs, Private Endpoints, DNS, Virtual Networks, and Private Link.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, supporting end‑to‑end production releases.
• Collaborate with security and architecture teams to enforce compliance and security controls.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, driving rapid resolution.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably in a retail or large‑scale environment.
• Strong background in Azure services, cloud networking, and security compliance.
• Proven ability to work independently and partner with cross‑functional teams.
