RTR Senior Accountant

About the role

DHL Supply Chain is building a world‑class accounting hub in Heredia, Costa Rica. The RTR Senior Accountant will join the Finance transformation team, supporting the Record‑to‑Report (RTR) processes for multiple countries and ensuring compliance with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare, review and approve journal entries.
• Perform reconciliations of GL balances with supporting documentation.
• Review and validate Capex purchase requisitions against group policy.
• Reconcile bank statements, monitor fixed assets, intercompany transactions and cash‑management activities.
• Manage IFRS 16 lease reporting, maintain lease data in the LEAP database.
• Collaborate with country finance teams, shared services and the SSC to meet KPI targets.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and tax regulations.
• Provide technical support to Accounting Governance and assist with data accuracy in CREST and local systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CPI or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of RTR accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP compliance.
