Credit Risk Analyst

About the role

DHL is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join its team in Heredia, Costa Rica. In this position you will evaluate the creditworthiness of clients, using a variety of online and agency resources, to support the company’s financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial information to decide whether a client qualifies for credit.
• Recommend, implement, or revoke credit extensions based on account status.
• Prepare reports documenting approved and revoked credits.
• Utilise the “Credit Protector” and COFACE databases when reviewing financial data.
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information and apply proper labeling procedures.
• Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 months experience in credit risk, query handling, or related processes.
• Advanced level of English.
• Strong analytical mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the basic suite of Microsoft Office products.
