Model Based Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Model Based Software Engineer to develop safety‑critical airborne software for an electric advanced air‑mobility aircraft. You will work with flight control, certification, flight test and verification teams to translate requirements into simulations, tests and flight‑test analyses.

Key responsibilities

• Compose, decompose and map system requirements for model‑based development.
• Write, execute and optimize MATLAB/Simulink test suites, including Monte Carlo analyses.
• Analyze simulation and flight‑test results and produce concise, justified summaries.
• Collaborate closely with flight‑control, certification, flight‑test and software‑verification groups.
• Develop and maintain safety‑critical software in compliance with aerospace standards.

Required profile

• BSc in mechanical, electrical/electronics, mechatronics, aerospace, computer science or a related field.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
