Human Resources Generalist (Temporary)

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will support the HR Business Partner team and business units in areas such as associate relations, compensation, benefits, affirmative action, development, and talent management. This temporary position acts as a key point of contact for HR processes and policy guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR liaison for assigned business groups, advising managers on legal and policy matters.
• Develop and update company policies, counsel on sexual harassment, performance improvement, engagement, retention, and benefits.
• Investigate grievances, compile documentation, and provide recommendations to mitigate legal risk.
• Lead internal audits to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Partner with recruitment teams to attract and onboard new associates.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze retention risk trends.
• Report and analyze HR metrics, supporting data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, policy interpretation, and HR best practices.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and sound judgment.
