Go/Golang Developer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Go/Golang developer to join a remote, part‑time contract team focused on evaluating next‑generation AI coding tools in confidential alpha stages. This role is ideal for developers who enjoy technical exploration and want to contribute to the future of AI‑assisted programming.

Key responsibilities

• Develop REST and GraphQL endpoints within a modern Go stack.
• Perform rigorous data validation and comprehensive error handling.
• Execute database migrations and optimize performance.
• Test and evaluate alpha AI models in Cursor during intensive 4‑day testing bursts.
• Identify, document, and report incidents, bugs, and edge cases with detailed traces and screenshots.
• Collaborate with the research team via Slack, providing real‑time feedback and insights.
• Complete structured surveys on model usability after each testing burst.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Golang developer.
• Strong command of Go, REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend development best practices.
• Experience with AI‑powered coding tools, preferably Cursor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for hands‑on coding, rapid prototyping, and technical curiosity.
