DevOps Engineer

About the role

Moody's is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, operate, and continuously improve secure, scalable cloud platforms and delivery pipelines that support reliable cloud‑native application delivery. You will work with cutting‑edge AI‑enabled risk solutions and help the company move from insight to action.

Key responsibilities

• Design, automate, and operate secure cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy, manage, and harden Amazon EKS clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Architect and implement AWS serverless solutions using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
• Implement observability solutions with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Collaborate with development teams to enable reliable, repeatable application delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Amazon EKS, including security, scaling, and HA.
• Strong experience with core AWS services and serverless technologies.
• 2+ years of Terraform experience for multi‑environment infrastructure.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions and Git‑based workflows.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting in production environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking fundamentals, and compliance.
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and interest in responsible AI practices.
