About the role
We are looking for an Accountant III to support Boston Scientific by executing and overseeing accounting, tax and internal control processes. The role ensures regulatory compliance, financial data accuracy, and assists with internal and external audits.
Key responsibilities
- Execute and supervise day‑to‑day accounting, tax reporting and internal control activities.
- Maintain compliance with SOX 404, SOX 302, US GAAP, IFRS and other relevant regulations.
- Prepare accurate financial information for management and audit teams.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit engagements.
- Monitor and improve internal control frameworks and reporting procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, US GAAP, IFRS and internal control standards.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
- Experience using RiskConnect, AuditBoard and Power BI.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
