Senior Issue Management Analyst

About the role

Individuals in Issue Management coordinate and comprehensively manage issues with key stakeholders to ensure Citi maintains compliance and remediates findings from internal and external reviews. The role drives sustainable solutions by addressing root causes and embedding lessons learned across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support coordination and comprehensive management of issues with stakeholders.
• Drive issue quality reviews to ensure compliance with Issue Management Policy, Standards and Procedures.
• Facilitate Business/Function Quality Control engagement throughout high‑impact issue remediation lifecycles.
• Maintain robust tracking and reporting of issue inventory, providing visibility on control gaps and risk.
• Utilize analytics to assess remediation trends, identify key risks and develop process‑improvement insights.
• Partner with internal audit, business units and senior management to communicate findings and promote a culture of risk awareness.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit or related control functions within financial services.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage senior management.
• Proven ability to develop and execute corrective action plans and implement sustainable solutions.
• Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
