Vice President, Transaction Advisory

About the role

Collateral Partners is seeking a Vice President to co‑lead its Transaction Readiness, Research & Investor Relations practice. Reporting to the Managing Director and partnering with the existing VP, you will act as a senior advisor to private equity sponsors, asset managers, real‑estate operators and founder‑led firms during capital raises, fund launches, M&A, refinancings and exits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of pitch decks, Confidential Information Memorandums, teasers and management presentations that move capital from interest to commitment.
• Direct white‑paper production, investment thesis work and competitive/market analysis to position clients as authoritative voices.
• Manage the recurring investor‑relations cadence, including LP letters, quarterly updates, annual reports and investor‑day materials.
• Mentor and develop a growing team of Associates, set quality standards and recruit as the practice expands.

Required profile

• 6+ years in investment banking, capital markets, transaction advisory, or in‑house investor relations at a PE or asset‑management firm.
• Proven track record building capital‑raising materials such as pitch decks, CIMs, IMs, LP letters and research reports.
• Experience advising senior principals directly and leading junior talent.
• Strong finance fluency with the ability to read decks, models and memos and extract the narrative.
• Exceptional written English; CFA or a graduate degree in finance/business is a plus.
