Collections and Disputes Manager

About the role

The Collections and Disputes Manager leads the strategic execution of the Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) collections process, driving performance against DSO, past‑due and bad‑debt targets across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all O2C collections activities, set long‑term goals and drive operational execution.
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors and senior analysts, ensuring effective team performance across regions.
• Define, monitor and act on critical metrics such as collections efficiency, dispute resolution and overdue reduction.
• Collaborate with senior leaders in Credit, Sales, Disputes and Cash Applications to remove barriers and align on goals.
• Handle blocking issues and negotiate with customers to protect long‑term relationships.
• Champion continuous‑improvement initiatives using root‑cause analysis and process‑design thinking.
• Develop and enforce policies to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and internal controls.
• Lead talent development, succession planning and training programs for high‑performing teams.
• Present operational results, risk assessments and strategic proposals to executive stakeholders.
• Act as change leader supporting transformation initiatives within the function or broader organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or Economics; MBA or similar postgraduate degree is a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 4 years in a leadership role managing large teams.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• Proven track record of reducing overdue balances and improving DSO.
• Experience in multi‑country or regional operations is strongly preferred.
• Background in process‑improvement initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
