Junior Account Executive

About the role

Panoptyc is looking for a motivated Junior Account Executive to join its fully remote sales team. You will own the full sales cycle for mid‑market retail and grocery accounts, turning prospects into signed contracts while collaborating closely with senior AEs and the SDR team.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery, demo, and closing calls with loss‑prevention and operations leaders.
• Manage a pipeline of mid‑market opportunities from qualified lead to closed‑won, ensuring timely progression.
• Partner with SDRs for smooth handoffs and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Deliver tailored product demos that address the operational realities of retail and grocery buyers.
• Develop deal strategies for multi‑stakeholder organizations and manage post‑close handoff to Customer Success.
• Gather market intelligence, report on competitor activity, and provide feedback to Marketing and Product teams.

Required profile

• Hungry, coachable, and systematically organized with strong commercial instincts.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with directors, VPs, and other key stakeholders.
• Ability to ask hard discovery questions, listen actively, and handle objections with poise.
• Demonstrated urgency, ownership, and a results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM platform to track accounts and opportunities.
