Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will work closely with the Plant Director and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, improve plant performance, and provide financial insight for decision‑making on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives such as Zero Loss Thinking and Operational Excellence, overseeing cost‑savings plans and process improvements.
• Act as the Plant Director when required and champion continuous improvement through simplification, centralisation, and automation of business processes.
• Deliver actionable financial insights and tools to support shop‑floor decisions while developing finance talent and strengthening partnerships with business centre managers.
• Oversee all reporting activities, including AOP, monthly/quarterly results and special analyses, translating outcomes into clear strategic and operational actions.
• Develop and analyse material, production and conversion costs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Manage capital improvement planning, including project evaluation, justification, post‑audit validation and coordination of plant‑related restructuring activities.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, economics, engineering or a related field.
• Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is desirable.
• 3‑5 years of financial analysis experience.
• Proven experience building high‑performing finance teams and developing talent.
