Compensation Analyst

About the role

The Compensation Analyst partners with the Compensation Team to shape and execute L.L.Bean’s pay strategy. You will work closely with business leaders to evaluate, price, and structure positions using market data and internal grading systems.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with leaders in assigned client areas on compensation matters and job design.
• Analyze market data and internal comparisons to recommend salary structures and pay grades.
• Prepare and maintain job descriptions, evaluate FLSA status, and document decisions.
• Communicate and administer compensation policies, providing education to managers and employees.
• Support compensation projects, research, and implementation of program changes.
• Participate in annual survey administration and incentive plan oversight.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience in compensation or related HR analytics.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1).

Required skills

• Strong MS Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with HR software systems (preferred).
• Advanced math and basic statistical application knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
