Senior Staff IT Architect – Windows Endpoint

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Staff IT Architect who will serve as a Windows Endpoint Architect. In this strategic role you will design, govern, and review Windows solutions that support business partner requests and product enhancements, while ensuring security, scalability, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Produce clear, scalable, and secure Windows architecture and solution designs for business requests.
• Participate in and co‑run the Endpoint/Windows Architecture Review Board to approve endpoint‑impacting changes.
• Perform formal architecture reviews, risk assessments, and provide remediation or alternative design recommendations.
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts such as reference architectures, decision records, technical standards, and review checklists.
• Define and enforce Windows baselines, hardening guidance, and configuration expectations in partnership with the Device Configuration team.
• Influence vendor selection and solution evaluation for Windows‑centric components, articulating long‑term architectural implications.
• Collaborate with Windows Product Owner, Security, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to meet functional, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as an enterprise Windows architect or in a comparable senior technical leadership role.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into detailed architecture blueprints and reference designs.
• Strong background in architecture governance, standards development, and baseline enforcement.
• Experience conducting formal technical reviews and risk assessments.
• Excellent cross‑team collaboration skills with product, security, and infrastructure groups.
