Senior Backend Engineer / Technical Lead

About the role

The Senior Backend Engineer / Technical Lead will translate complex business and functional requirements into robust, enterprise‑grade backend solutions for internal, non‑member‑facing platforms. Acting as a technical authority, the role combines hands‑on development with architectural guidance across the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Build and optimise data‑driven applications with strong SQL Server expertise.
• Lead technical decisions on backend architecture, data models, and workflow design.
• Provide end‑to‑end SDLC support, including development, testing, release, and production support.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement remediation.
• Collaborate with analytics teams for Tableau and future Power BI reporting.
• Partner with frontend teams using SharePoint and SPFX.
• Mentor engineers and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years across full SDLC initiatives.
• 2+ years in a senior engineer or technical‑lead capacity.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in ambiguous, enterprise‑scale environments.
