IT Consultant III – Cyber Risk Defense Consultant

About the role

The IT Consultant III – Cyber Risk Defense Consultant will act as a bridge between business users and the IT organization, helping define and improve business processes while contributing technically to project teams. This individual contributor will support the design, analysis, and implementation of solutions that mitigate cyber risk across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business, functional, and non‑functional requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and IT teams.
• Develop and maintain business cases, assessing cost, benefit, ROI and total cost of ownership for proposed solutions.
• Map current state processes to future state designs, identifying gaps, impacts, and opportunities for efficiency.
• Provide recommendations on integrating requirements with existing systems and processes.
• Support solution design, vendor evaluation, and the identification of additional data or services needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, creating standardized tools, templates, and processes.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to relevant parties and escalate when necessary.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and act as a liaison between business users and IT.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in requirements gathering methodologies (e.g., SMART).
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings and recommendations clearly.
• Self‑motivated learner who seeks feedback and adapts to change.
