Full Stack Cloud Developer

About the role

TransUnion is building a new engineering team in Costa Rica to support its global platforms. We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Cloud Developer who can design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud‑based applications while collaborating with teams across the US, India, and Costa Rica.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality backend solutions using .NET, Java, or similar technologies.
• Build responsive front‑end applications with modern frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum teams, delivering features on time and with high quality.
• Optimize database performance and ensure efficient data modeling for both relational and non‑relational stores.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and overall system quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and propose effective solutions to technical challenges.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of hands‑on software development experience.
• Strong backend development background with .NET, Java, or comparable languages.
• Proven experience with modern front‑end frameworks (Vue.js, Angular, React).
• Experience working on cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, relational and non‑relational databases.
• Familiarity with microservices, RESTful APIs, and Agile Scrum environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
