DevOps Engineer (Remote)

About the role

TransUnion is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a newly formed engineering team supporting its global platform infrastructure. The role is remote, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud environments that power applications worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in Kubernetes environments (GKE or equivalents).
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Ansible or comparable tools.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud‑based systems.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and support production environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and reliability.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform or similar.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with distributed engineering teams.
• High level of ownership over infrastructure reliability and security.
