FP&A Analyst

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking a strategic, detail‑oriented FP&A Analyst to support a diverse portfolio of high‑growth SaaS, CPG, and hospitality clients. The role is fully remote and operates on a contract basis, providing high‑quality forecasting, modeling, and insight generation to drive client business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize three‑statement financial models for client forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Partner with the team on monthly close processes, delivering variance analysis and performance insights.
• Review, improve, and standardize FP&A processes and KPI dashboards across clients.
• Transform raw financial and operational data into clear, actionable reports for founders and management teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, owning forecasting and modeling cycles.
• Expert‑level Excel proficiency with ability to handle large datasets and ensure data integrity.
• Familiarity with SaaS, CPG, or hospitality industries is a strong plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment.
