Finance Operations Readiness Analyst – Accounts Payable

About the role

Amazon Finance & Global Business Services is seeking a Finance Operations Readiness Analyst to support the Accounts Payable (AP) organization in Costa Rica. The role focuses on launching new initiatives and expanding business operations while ensuring smooth AP processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between the Project Management Office (PMO) and AP operations.
• Document new business cases and assess their impact on AP workflows.
• Train AP team members on new processes and raise awareness of risks.
• Act as an escalation point for complex issues with internal and external partners.
• Ensure proper application of controls and collaborate with technology teams to automate AP processes.
• Participate in hiring, training, and employee development initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of finance experience.
• 2+ years applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
• 1+ year of Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience using data to influence business decisions.
• Background in corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• 2+ years of project delivery experience.
• Strong desire to innovate in a fast‑paced environment.
