About the role
Haleon is seeking a Finance Controller to lead the finance team for its US and Puerto Rico markets. The role supports the Hub Regional Financial Controller and is responsible for delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and analysis that drives business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and comment on financial results, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain strong financial controls, approve reconciliations, and oversee transaction activity in line with global processes.
- Provide insight on risk, growth, and performance, recommending improvements and remedial actions.
- Coordinate month‑end close, operational excellence reporting, and risk register maintenance.
- Support statutory result sign‑off with in‑market Finance Directors and coordinate activities across business units.
- Lead preparation of inputs for external and internal audits and manage audit processes.
Required profile
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and best practices.
- Experience delivering accurate financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, performance‑focused environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk and performance insight.
