LATAM Senior Compliance Specialist

About the role

Haleon is seeking a LATAM Senior Compliance Specialist to lead financial control, compliance and governance across its Latin American operating units. The role acts as the first line of defence for finance compliance, ensuring consistent execution of policies, internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compliance oversight across the operating unit, consolidating outcomes of embedded finance controls, regional and global capability centres, and audit results.
• Lead execution, monitoring and continuous improvement of financial controls in line with Haleon policies, SOX/Non‑SOX frameworks and local regulations.
• Establish and manage robust monitoring processes for SOX and non‑SOX markets, leveraging global compliance teams.
• Act as escalation point for control deficiencies, policy breaches and compliance risks.
• Coordinate finance engagement with internal and external auditors, manage audit planning, evidence provision and issue remediation.
• Track, challenge and close audit findings and management actions promptly.
• Identify emerging financial compliance risks and recommend mitigation actions.
• Ensure adherence to Haleon Finance Manual, accounting policies and governance standards, and support policy interpretation and implementation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance compliance, internal controls and audit within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of SOX and non‑SOX regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to partner with internal audit, external audit and risk management teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive risk‑identification mindset.
• Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
