Bilingual HR Representative

About the role

The HR Representative provides essential administrative and operational support to employees and managers across the organization. Working remotely from Costa Rica, you will help ensure smooth HR processes, accurate payroll and benefits administration, and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve HR, payroll, benefits, and Workday‑related inquiries, documenting all interactions.
• Partner with HRIS, HR Business Partners, payroll, benefits, and employee relations teams to escalate complex tickets.
• Support Talent Acquisition by assisting with offer processes and recruiting system issues.
• Administer employee and leader transactions within Workday.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of HR processes for all supported countries in the region.
• Review work for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, influencing and connecting with colleagues.
• Assist with internal and external audit preparation and compliance documentation.
• Safeguard confidential employee information.
• Contribute to special HR initiatives and company‑wide projects as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional experience in HR, Workday, payroll, or benefits.
• Strong client‑service mindset with proactive anticipation of needs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, matrixed environment.
• Experience supporting remote or shared‑service employee populations.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated to work independently from a home office.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Workday proficiency (preferred).
• Experience with Fresh Service or ServiceNow (helpful).
