AWS Cloud Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining robust AWS environments while ensuring security and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using core services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Implement and maintain identity and access management configurations and network setups using IAM and VPC.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration through Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using AWS CloudWatch and related monitoring tools.
• Develop and maintain operational scripts in Bash and Python to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with robust security practices across all cloud operations.

Required profile

• Proven expertise with AWS core services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Solid foundation in Linux administration and Bash scripting.
• Experience developing automation solutions using Python.
• Deep understanding of network basics and cloud security best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
