AV Deployment Engineer – IT Services

About the role

Amazon's Corporate Infrastructure Services is looking for an AV Deployment Engineer to configure and test audiovisual systems for corporate sites worldwide. The role blends remote scripting, onsite hardware tuning, and collaboration with internal and external teams.

Key responsibilities

• Configure audiovisual devices remotely using scripts and deployment tools.
• Install, tune, and test onsite equipment such as system control processors, audio DSPs, and videoconferencing codecs.
• Modify and enhance existing deployment scripts; develop new automation tools.
• Track project assignments, adjust schedules, and plan travel for onsite deliveries.
• Communicate status with Amazon AV project managers and external integrators.
• Troubleshoot and escalate system issues to design and engineering teams.
• Adapt to changing objectives in a complex, ambiguous environment.

Required profile

• 2+ years of Linux systems administration or development experience.
• 1+ years of programming in at least two of: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash/Shell.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in audiovisual engineering and large‑scale hardware deployments.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly.
