Windows Solutions Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Windows Solutions Architect to lead the design and governance of Windows endpoint solutions across the enterprise. The role partners with product owners, security, and infrastructure teams to translate business needs into secure, scalable, and repeatable Windows architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Produce clear, scalable, and secure Windows architecture designs for business partner requests and product enhancements.
• Participate in and help operate the Windows Architecture Review Board, reviewing and approving endpoint‑impacting changes.
• Provide authoritative guidance and guardrails to desktop engineering, device configuration, and implementation teams.
• Define and enforce Windows baselines, hardening guidance, and configuration expectations in collaboration with the Device Configuration team.
• Influence vendor selection and evaluate solutions for Windows‑centric components, articulating long‑term architectural implications.
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts such as reference architectures, decision records, technical standards, and review checklists.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and governing Windows endpoint solutions in large enterprises.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical blueprints and documented trade‑offs.
• Proven track record of leading architecture review processes and risk assessments.
• Excellent collaboration skills with product owners, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
