Warehouse Supervisor – Material Handling Team Lead

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor leads the material handling team, overseeing shipping, receiving, warehouse, kitting and cycle counting to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction across the entire material handling team, including shipping, receiving, warehouse, kitting and cycle counting.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, ISO 13485, company policies and the site Quality Management System.
• Develop and use metrics to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.
• Plan, organize and schedule departmental activities to meet production and product development needs.
• Maintain the cycle‑count program and leverage its results to improve ERP data integrity.
• Supervise staff, manage time‑and‑attendance, and deliver training on general and product‑specific skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, logistics or a related field.
• At least 4 years of warehousing and materials‑management experience, preferably in medical‑device manufacturing and in a leadership role.
• Intermediate proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Strong organizational, communication and leadership potential.
• Experience monitoring, managing and reporting performance metrics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using Made2Manage or a similar ERP system.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles for process improvement.
• Understanding of ERP/MRP business functions.
