Buyer I – Procurement Specialist

About the role

Cirtec Medical is seeking a Buyer I to manage procurement from requisition through production. The role ensures timely supply of materials, equipment, and services for complex medical device manufacturing while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire materials, supplies, equipment and services across assigned categories.
• Execute RFQs, negotiate cost, quality and delivery terms.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and planning parameters in ERP systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, and operations to meet demand and manage extended supply chains.
• Drive supplier development using KPIs and conduct inventory assessments.
• Execute purchase orders, monitor open orders for OTIF compliance, and resolve material discrepancies.
• Support import‑export processes and ensure required documentation for raw materials.
• Generate and monitor purchasing KPIs such as Purchase Price Variance and Supplier OTIF.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International Trade or related field.
• Minimum 1 + year experience in supply chain, purchasing or related discipline; contract manufacturing experience preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong problem‑solving and collaborative abilities demonstrated through negotiations.

• Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms (e.g., leanDNA).
• Advanced planning methodologies.
• Microsoft Outlook and Excel proficiency.
