Visitador Médico – Cardiometabólicos y Sistema Nervioso

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Visitor to promote prescription pharmaceuticals within Costa Rica's Greater Metropolitan Area. The focus will be on cardiometabolic and central nervous system product lines, strengthening our market position.

Key responsibilities

• Execute medical visit strategies across the GAM.
• Promote and position prescription drugs, achieving coverage, frequency, and sales targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with general practitioners and specialists.
• Plan and manage efficient visit routes in line with commercial strategy.
• Provide scientific support and clinical arguments for the assigned portfolio.

Required profile

• Doctor in Pharmacy, registered with the Colegio de Farmacéuticos de Costa Rica.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Visitor.
• Proven track record promoting cardiometabolic (diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia) and CNS (antidepressants, anticonvulsants) products.
• Desirable experience with generic drug commercialization and an active doctor network in the GAM.
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of cardiometabolic and CNS pharmaceutical products.
• Ability to deliver scientific and clinical arguments to healthcare professionals.
