About the role
We are looking for a qualified Mathematics Tutor to provide private, in‑home lessons for secondary‑school students in San Isidro de Heredia. The role involves delivering personalized instruction that helps students improve their understanding and performance in mathematics.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct one‑on‑one math tutoring sessions at the student’s home.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the secondary school curriculum.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Provide homework support and exam preparation.
Required profile
- University degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience tutoring secondary‑school students.
- Preferably has worked in private schools.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of secondary‑level mathematics concepts.
- Ability to explain complex topics in a clear, understandable manner.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students and parents.
